Their role is to represent the policyholder’s interests during negotiations to secure a fair outcome. How does Loss Guard benefit brokers?

At what point will a Loss Assessor visit the site?

For claims valued in excess of £15,000, we will dispatch a Loss Assessor within one business day (often same day), with follow-up visits to liaise with insurers, loss adjusters, and contractors as needed.

How does the free access to Loss Assessors work?

Loss Guard provides complimentary access to Loss Assessors for all members. Smaller claims receive professional phone/email advice and when claims are over £15,000 Morgan Clark will manage the entire process, including on-site visits.

How does commission work?

Brokers earn commission on successful referrals to Morgan Clark, paid upon claim settlement. The commission structure is transparent and agreed upon beforehand, creating a valuable and predictable additional revenue stream.

For small claims, you or the policyholder manage the process with our advice. Morgan Clark fully manages larger or complex claims.

No formal contract is required. Brokers sign a simple one-page agreement with flexible cancellation terms. It’s easy to get started with Loss Guard, with no long-term commitment.

We provide a variety of resources to help brokers promote Loss Guard to their clients, including certificates for policyholder distribution with key contacts, co-branded materials, and support for your website and social media channels upon request.

How do Morgan Clark handle emergency situations where contractors need to be appointed immediately?

Morgan Clark has a trusted network of contractors ready to be dispatched to make properties safe and mitigate further damage. One of our Loss Assessors will quickly evaluate the damage and introduce emergency response contractors where necessary.

How does Morgan Clark earn its fees?

As FCA authorised and regulated Loss Assessors, Morgan Clark’s fees are discussed and agreed upon in writing before we are instructed, ensuring full transparency. Where a policyholder chooses to reinstate their property and appoints one of the contractors Morgan Clark introduces, Morgan Clark will not typically charge a fee. Once a contractor passes our intense vetting process, they pay a fee to be part of Morgan Clark’s contractor network. In cases where a policyholder opts for a cash settlement or to use their own contractors, our fee is calculated as a small percentage of the total claim value.
