About David

David has over 12 years’ experience in the insurance claims industry and has worked on all types of claims. He now deals with domestic and commercial claims in the South West region.

With over 15 years’ experience as a Loss Adjuster, I always felt that I was not able to assist the policy holder as much as I would have preferred to. As a result, I made the move away from working for the insurer to focus on helping the individual. I have undertaken many high-profile claims including the Somerset Levels floods in December 2014.

The final settlement for the contents claim was higher than the first offer from the insurance company and in excess of the insured value. David Lawton went the extra mile to ensure our contents claim value was met. In fact the final valuation exceeded the claimed amount. Coming from a project management background I am not the easiest person to deal with, (I already know it all!) and at no time did I appear to be aggravating him. He is a true diplomat and a credit to the company.
