Taking away the stress of an insurance claim

Some of the claims we handle have more of an impact on us than others. This was true of one recently as it involved a very elderly man who lived by himself, three hours’ drive from his son. Increasing numbers of us face this worry in life: trying to care for a parent who lives a long distance away, and if disaster strikes then it is an incredibly difficult situation.

One day this gentleman, who is 93, forgot that he’d left the chip pan on and as a consequence his bungalow was severely damaged by fire. Luckily he wasn’t hurt and also was able to move in with a friend nearby. But it just wasn’t possible for him to handle the claim himself, and his son couldn’t see how he could do everything from a distance. So he turned to Morgan Clark who took over the claim and saw it through to completion.

Another recent client, who was also elderly, was more independent and at first thought she could handle the fire claim herself.
