Back to business after the riots

The recent civil disturbances across the UK had a severe effect on many businesses. One local authority called on Morgan Clark to help those affected get back on their feet.

Greenwich Council, which serves one of the hardest hit areas in London, held a highly-successful Back to Business Advice Surgery. This attracted a large number of businesses who received advice and help on many issues, including insurance claims.

Morgan Clark was asked to take part in the event, and spoke to many attendees about how to make an appropriate and comprehensive insurance claim. The businesses they helped were not just those who had suffered loss of stock and damage to property. Many – even those who were not physically targeted – had experienced a knock-on effect of loss of trade as a result of the riots.

Morgan Clark has in-depth experience of working with businesses which face disruption as the result of fire, flood, criminal damage or other disaster. Its advice and support has in some cases ensured a business has survived when otherwise it might have had to cease trading.
